Here's the deal: Anthropic announced that Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers will receive a separate monthly credit for Claude Agent SDK usage starting June 15, 2026. The credit covers SDK projects, the claude -p command, and third-party apps built on the Agent SDK.
The Breakdown:
Pro users get $20/month, Max 5x gets $100, and Max 20x gets $200 in Agent SDK credit.
Credits are per-user, refresh each billing cycle, and do not roll over.
The credit covers Python and TypeScript SDK projects, Claude Code GitHub Actions, and non-interactive claude -p commands.
Interactive Claude Code, web/mobile chat, and Cowork continue drawing from existing subscription limits.
Once the credit runs out, usage shifts to extra usage at standard API rates if enabled. Otherwise, requests stop.
API key users on the Developer Platform are unaffected and stay on pay-as-you-go billing.
The bigger picture: When a company creates separate billing for agent usage, it means agents are eating enough capacity to starve human sessions. Twenty dollars in free monthly credits is the oldest platform play there is. Get developers building, make the workflows sticky, then watch them upgrade when the credits run out. Anthropic is subsidizing its own lock-in.
Here's the deal: Google DeepMind unveiled an AI-powered pointer concept that lets users point at on-screen content and interact with Gemini using natural shorthand like "fix this" or "move that." The system captures visual and semantic context automatically, replacing detailed text prompts.

The pointer understands what users point at, turning pixels into structured entities like places, dates, and objects.
Four principles guide the design: maintain flow across apps, show and tell, embrace natural shorthand, and make pixels actionable.

Integration begins in Chrome, letting users point at webpage elements and query Gemini directly.
Magic Pointer will launch on Google's new Googlebook laptop.
Testing continues across platforms including Google Labs' Disco.
The bigger picture: ChatGPT needs a prompt. Copilot needs a sidebar. Google is betting you should just point. That is three different visions for how humans interact with AI, and only one of them disappears into the workflow entirely. Shipping this inside Chrome puts Gemini between two billion users and every website they visit. No chatbot has that surface area.

Here's the deal: Isomorphic Labs, the Demis Hassabis-founded AI drug discovery company, closed a $2.1 billion Series B round led by Thrive Capital. The funding will scale its proprietary AI drug design engine, IsoDDE, and advance therapeutic programs toward clinical trials.

The round includes existing backers Alphabet and GV alongside new investors MGX, Temasek, CapitalG, and the UK Sovereign AI Fund.
IsoDDE is a unified AI engine designed to work across multiple therapeutic areas and drug modalities.
The company maintains pharma partnerships with Novartis, Lilly, and Johnson & Johnson.
Hiring will expand across AI, engineering, drug design, and clinical roles globally.
Isomorphic operates from London, Cambridge (MA), and Lausanne, Switzerland.
The bigger picture: Most AI drug startups raise on benchmarks. Isomorphic raised $2.1 billion because Novartis, Lilly, and J&J are already using it. That is the difference between promising and proven. AlphaFold solved protein structure. Hassabis is now betting IsoDDE solves the rest of the drug pipeline. A government sovereign fund joining at this stage says he might be right.
